Surgery will be either next Wednesday or Friday and then I will stay in the hospital that night. I won't know for sure which day until Monday. Scheduling would probably be better for Friday, but I seem to be healing quite quickly so it is probably better to do it Wednesday if possible.

Still no pain. Soreness, for sure and probably more than I realize but I've just kinda gotten used to it.

And no, even with the screws they will put in place -- I will _not_ set off metal detectors. The screws are titanium which goes through undetected and also will not mess up CAT scans. Yeah for modern medicine!
